Designers
When you look through an issue of Architectural Digest, do you see the home theaters and multi-room music systems with automated lighting control and computer networks?
Maybe you don’t. But they are there.
I am writing to introduce you to Video Audio Design, Inc. (VAD), Bakersfield’s finest designer and installer of custom (“integrated”) electronics systems. We want to be your “go to” team when clients ask you about:
• Home Theaters • Multi-room Music & Video Systems
• Automated Lighting • Home Automation
• Telephones/Intercoms • Security & Surveillance Systems
• Computer Networks • Structured Wiring
As you know, integrated systems are becoming the rule, rather than the exception, in better homes. Indeed, the last five years has seen a proliferation of products designed specifically for integrated systems – in other words, they are easier to use, simpler to install, and less likely to impact décor.
Speakers that blend into walls. Video projectors that hide in ceilings. Automated lighting and climate systems that reduce the number of switchplates and thermostats. Yes, believe it or not, the makers of these high-tech products are seeing things your way now!
Chances are that your clients have seen and heard about high-performance entertainment systems, efficient automated lighting and climate control, and the wisdom of structured wiring for new construction. And, by and large, they know such systems are designed and installed by specialists like VAD, not by electricians or phone & cable guys.
VAD is a member of the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), the trade organization that certifies skilled and reputable installers, the Bakersfield Builder Exchange, licensed as contractors by the state of California (Lic# 812933), holds the Home Improvement Certification (HIC), and recently ranked 96th in the Top 100 Custom Integrators by the industry magazine (CEPRO). But what truly makes VAD the best choice becomes evident when we meet to thoroughly evaluate a client’s needs.
Despite the trappings of technology, our business is based on plain old face-to-face communication. We work closely with interior designers as well as builders and architects to ensure we meet all aesthetic and functional criteria. The burden is on us – not you – to ask the right questions. If we do our job well, your client ends up with (for example) a home theater and multi-room music system that performs beyond expectations, is fool-proof to use, respects the surrounding décor, and fits within budget.
VAD wants to be your “go to” team. Please contact us to discuss your next project, or simply to get a feel for how we operate.
We look forward to hearing from you
